Is this Certification recognized worldwide?
Yes, the Federation of International Sports, Aerobics and Fitness (FISAF) is one of the largest organisation in the world granting certificates of accreditation in over 40 countries worldwide.
How do I become a Trainer/Instructor?
In order to become a Certified Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Aerobics & Group Fitness Instructor and/or Aqua Instructor, it is compulsory to register for the Core Foundation Course (Level 1). FISAF International Malaysia offers 2 options : Group Study or Home Based Self-Study for all the Courses.
Can I skip the Core Foundation Course if I already have other
certification such as ACE?
Candidates who holds a Certification in Physical Education, Human Kinetics and other exercise science programs (Physiotherapist, Pilates Instructor, etc.) can be exempted from taking the Core Foundation Course (Level1).
Are there any exams? When do I have to take the exams?
There will be a theoretical exam for the Core Foundation Course and a theoretical plus practical assessment for the Certification Courses. We recommend taking the exam within 6 months; however students can take the exam within 2 years.
How long does the certification valid?
There is no expiry date. FISAF International Malaysia doesn’t endorse the compulsory CEC system but we highly encourage our students to frequently attend further education programs and workshops, after having passed certification, to maintain the highest standards of education.
